UF’s Department of Chemistry welcomes Dr. Facundo M. Fernández of Georgia Institute of Technology for his seminar, “Cancer Metabolomics: Early Detection and Beyond.”

Congratulations to the recipients of SECIM's 2014 Pilot and Feasibility Program funding! Overall, eleven research projects were funded, spanning across six institutions.

Dr. McIntyre joins thirty-two additional UF faculty members as recipients of the 2014 University of Florida Research Foundation Professorships.

UF was host to some of the world's metabolomics leaders and young researchers during SECIM's inaugural metabolomics workshop and symposium, which came to a close Friday, May 23, 2014. More than 100 individuals attended the four-day event.

Gary Patti, Ph.D., will be visiting the University of Florida on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, to present his seminar "After the 'Feature' Presentation: Translating Metabolomics to Chronic Pain."

The West Coast Metabolomics Center at UC Davis is offering a five-day course and training in metabolomics, running from Sunday, Feb. 9 through Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014.
